Fine Arts for Kids & Tots
of Logan Square

About the Program
Fine Arts for Kids classes are like college classes for kids! Voice of the City's longest running program engages young people ages 3 to 14 , from all backgrounds, to develop their talent and foster a life-long appreciation of the arts. Since 1999, Fine Arts for Kids has introduced Art, Dance, Theatre, Music, and Photo/Film/Video (often taught in collaboration) to hundreds of Logan Square children, regardless of their ability to pay.

Winter Classes:

Music/Movement (Pre-K, 3 to 5 yrs)
Artist/teacher: Andrew Yearick

Creative Play (K to 2nd grades): mask making & more!
Artist/teacher: Julie Cvengros Grisalez

Theatre Arts, (3rd to 5th grades): acting, storytelling, movement class
Artist/teacher: Abu Ansari (Associate Artist, Voice of the City)

Visual Art (6th to 8th grades): drawing, painting, portrait class
Artist/teacher: Jen Minarchi

All classes run concurrently.  Siblings are encouraged to attend together.


When:

Saturdays: January 14 to March 3; 11:00 AM  to 12:30 PM

Where:
Arts Center, Logan Square - Avondale, 2800 N Milwaukee Avenue, 2nd FL

How much:
$90.00 for eight weeks.  Pay what you can; request what you need!
