Brief history
Since the organization's inception in 1999, Voice of the City has had a very dedicated board of directors.  The founding board of five members worked together for many years, laying the foundation for the organization's fiscal and structural health.

Since 2011, Voice of the City has engaged an intensive organizational development process, funded by Art Works Fund. Currently we are in a Board Development Phase. In 2016 we will be adding Board members, and innovating and implementing policies and procedures that insure Voice of the City's sustainability and help build org capacity, but also initiate from Voice of the City's core artistic leadership and mission.
